The description itself is somewhat misleading. Where in the description does it say Sports bra? Nowhere, but that is all the tags say. Yes, it cold look vaguely like a sports bra, but it is not described as such.
I do believe I recall seeing "racer back" in the description, but since when does this mean there are no hooks or adjustments to the band size?

The description says "full support". It is NOT. Light to medium maybe. NOT for the full-chested.

The sizing chart from Motherhood is worthless. I know my bra measurement size, but this is sold in 1X, 2X, etc. Nowhere on their site does Motherhood offer recommendations as to how to translate a real bra size into 2X and so on.
I ordered a 2X (due to my shirt size). The cups are far too small, and the band is far too big around. Which brings back my complaint about there being NO adjustments to the band size. Just because I have a large shirt size, doesn't mean my rib cage is huge, but my bust is small to "average".

By cheaply made, I mean the material of the entire bra is very thin.
There should be side supports on the bust when the cups are released. They are there - but the material is so thin, it's practically tissue paper that's only about 1/2" or less wide. Worthless.

By wearing it, I can see it would be a comfortable bra - but the complete mismatch of cup to band size is ridiculous. If you have a large ribcage, small cup size, and are not anywhere near to being considered "plus size", this may be the bra for you.
Not being able to adjust the band size makes it about worthless.

And I am NOT happy I have to pay to return this by mail - cost of return not reimbursed. Because I cannot exchange in-store (they don't stock anything my size), it must be sent back, I must wait for my $$ back, AND I have to lose the full cost of sending back. I'm not buying from Motherhood - online or in store ever again. Too many disappointments.Get more detail about Motherhood Maternity: Plus Size Full Support Soft Cup No Wire Nursing Bra.

These pads are larger than the standard Avent or Gerber ones, which is great for fuller-breasted women like me. They are not as thin, being that they are all cotton flannel, with no synthetic backing. These are what I use for nighttime and for being at home, since the pads will sometimes curl in the wash, making them noticeable under thin shirts.Get more detail about Medela Cotton Breast Pads - package of 4.

I am thin, 60, and getting married for the first time. Since my dress will be form-fitting, I need to ensure a smooth look and was recommended to buy Spanx. My size was sold out in 3 stores I looked at in Toronto so I decided to order them online. Not only did I find them in my size, they were less expensive.

I find them a bit tight, even though I went up a size but that's probably because I'm not used to such things.Get more detail about Spanx Power panties with tummy control.

My wife was so excited to use the bamboo belly bandit. We read the specs and reviews and thought that this is a miracle product! It seems to really work according to the website. When we got it, the first couple of times seemed good. However, the longer she wears it, the more uncomfortable it became. Also, it doesn't stay in one place; it folds up. Do NOT wear underneath clothes - it will show!!! False advertisement. In addition, she could not put it on herself. I had to help her each time! Bottom line: What a waste of money!

I would return it, but we threw out the box.

P.S. She hates this product with a passion. Guys, do yourselves a favor... don't buy this for your wife!Get more detail about Belly Bandit Bamboo.

This company has the best customer service I have encountered in a long time. The bra they sent out didn't fit quite right, I emailed them about it and they answered, explained, sent out a new bra and again emailed and asked if this sized one was better! Yes, the bra is fine...exceptional quality bra for an unbelievably low, low price. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.Get more detail about Womens Sentiments Sexy Seamless Purple Underwire Bra.

I like the molded cups which don't show nipples like most nursing bras, but I bought this in a 38D and the body was very tight. I'm about a size 8/10 but the bodice is skin-tight and rides up. I was also surprised that the hooks were so difficult to undo - not what you want when you have a hungry baby. The Gilligan & O'Malley Target tanks are much easier to unhook.Get more detail about La Leche League "Patricia" Microfiber Tank w/ Molded Cups #4201.

I bought this in store a week ago after being told by the sales lady how great a bra with no underwire is for nursing. Contrary to the name, this DOES have wires, only they are located on the sides of the bra for structural support, not under the cups. The wires on the sides bend to cut into my ribs and are VERY painful. I tried this on in a Motherhood store before buying and in the dressing room it looked fine, did not notice any problems - until I started wearing it when I got home. With regular movement as I went about my day I noticed almost immediately the wires started poking into me and were excrutiating. The more I've worn it, the more the vertically aligned wires curve to dig into my sides to the point where I have painful red indentations within seconds of putting it on. I wish I could exchange it, but the sales clerk in store told me bras were non-exchangable and non-refundable. I really needed a new bra, and now I'm out $20. I wouldn't waste my money on this again, and I wish I would have bought one of the underwire ones without the side wires which would have been much more comfortable. I've never had an issue with any other Motherhood product, but I was sorely disapointed in this one.Get more detail about Motherhood Maternity: Plus Size Full Support Soft Cup No Wire Nursing Bra.

I bought 8 nursing bras and three of them were these side snap ones. The other 5 I only wore until I found this style! They no longer fit now that I am not nursing but they were so comfortable and helpful that it will be difficult to part with them. The snap is incredibly strong so I never worried about it opening without intention.Get more detail about A Pea in the Pod: Medium Support Soft Cup Underwire Nursing Bra.

I had C-section and this product is great it is gentle and has provided good strong support. This product gave me the abilty to be able to move around much sooner than I would have on my own. I can care for my baby instead of being bond to my bed. I bought this in a medium and five days after having my son I now need a small. It really took down the inches and has me on way to my pre-baby shape. The only reason why this product does not get a five star rating is because it will get a little wrinkly and loose its shape, its not too bad though.Get more detail about Belly Bandit Original post-pregnancy tummy wrap.

Love these! I bought two pairs: original and high-waist. They do a great job at contouring and shaping. Very comfortable and silky too. Wish they weren't so pricey, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.Get more detail about Spanx Original Footless medium control.

This bra seems really comfortable and I really wish it worked as well after the first wash as when it was new. I threw it in the wash with the baby's clothes so it was a really gentle cycle but the built-in nursing pads got all wrinkled up and basically do no fit inside the bra too well. It seems they shrunk or something so the bra is now tighter and there is this fat ridge in the nursing pad that can't be smoothed out... which makes for extreme discomfort and not so slightly shape either.Get more detail about Motherhood Maternity: Light Support Soft Cup No Wire Nursing Bra.

I tried on a bunch of other choices before choosing this, sight unseen. It's much more comfortable than the plain elastic bands that go under your belly. This takes a lot of pressure off of your back when you exercise. I definitely recommend it! I am a larger busted woman so I really need something that fits well. These bras are wonderful and so comfortable. I wear it all day not just at night. It is also much easier than those bras you have to clip and unclip in order to nurse. This one you simple pull down a side and commence nursing. I own at least 4 of these. I would never get any other nursing bra. All the others I have tried just are not comfortable to me and are more inconvenient! Highly recommend. I also wore this during preganancy. It definately accomadates your growing bossom.Get more detail about Motherhood Maternity: Plus Size Light Support Nursing Sleep Bra.

I got a set of these in medium for my pregnancy. They were a great help while I was trying to continue wearing my regular clothes, when they were getting small, but maternity clothes were still too big. And then later, they were helpful toward the end of the pregnancy, when a lot of maternity tops were too short and maternity pants were riding down. They helped cover the gap between my pants/skirts and my tops.

But past that, I decided to get another set in small after my baby was born. Once it started getting chilly, I wasn't loving having to lift my shirt to nurse him. Even with my wonderful (Bebe Au Lait) nursing cover, my back and side was getting partially exposed, which was drafty. So, I use the smaller set of bands to cover up my midsection, making it easier to nurse in public without getting chilly or exposing too much.

The bands are a great help if you know you'll be nursing in public (as pretty much every breastfeeding mother does from time to time!), need it to be easy (as we all do!), but would rather use your old tops (and don't want to buy a ton of nursing tops). It's more economical to use your old tops, and get a few belly bands in basic colors, rather than buy a bunch of expensive nursing tops.

If you use your bands during the pregnancy, you'll almost certainly need a smaller size to use them for nursing, since with use they do conform to your (big-belly!) shape during the pregnancy. I tried using my old ones at first, but after I'd worn them for about an hour, they started falling down (which is annoying, and defeats the purpose). Hence I ordered the smaller size set. I will definitely plan on using both sets of bands for my next baby (whenever that happens), as well. I just wish Bebe Au Lait made an extra small size, which would be helpful for more petite women looking to use the bands for nursing purposes.Get more detail about Baby Be Mine Maternity Belly Band in 4 Sizes.

with my first pregnancy i was hesitant to spend a lot of money on bras since it was only a temporary use...so i only got 2. this one in particular was my favorite, its super comfortable and keeps everything in place. i am now pregnant again and using the same one from the first pregnancy and definately buying more of these. having a comfortable bra like this makes such a huge difference!

i just recommend waiting long enough in your pregnancy till your boobs have stopped getting bigger otherwise, obviously you'll grow out of it and it'll be a waste of money.Get more detail about Motherhood Maternity: Medium Support Padded Cup Underwire Nursing Bra.

I have this bra in the fab curvy size. It is a very comfortable bra. I would say that the support level is light, and the bra can be worn for sleep. It is similiar to a Bravado bra, although I prefer the Melinda G bra because of the silky fabric. The clips are easy to open and close with one hand, and cups open for full access to the breast.

I had a HARD time finding comfortable maternity & nursing bras. Here's what I like about this one...
1. Fabric: Beautiful, soft, stretchy bamboo. Soooo much nicer on tender breasts and nipples than thin cotton/spandex (if you're lucky) or (god-forbid) constricting nylon/poly blends.
2. Fit: Racerback style means no fussing with clips or slipping straps. Wide elastic around your ribcage that doesn't pinch. The staps are wide and of a soft elastic that doesn't chaff. Plenty of coverage so your 'newly endowed' self won't be spilling all over the place. Also held breast pads in place very well.
3. Support: This is the reason I gave *4*. For me (I topped out at 38E), it allowed a little more jiggle than I want for some activities. For sleeping, around the house, or a leisurely stroll it was perfect.
4. Ethics: As long as I'm spending money, I'm glad to spend it on something that has been made with the people making it (in Canada, I believe) and the environment in mind.

You have to open the plastic wrapping to try the cups on. They don't work or they don't fit. Not sure which one, but I wanted to return this item and I can't because I opened the plastic. So, I spent 30 dollars on something that doesn't work and I can't return. Lets just say I'm not pleased. The "customers" who wrote the other two reviews must work for the company. Pros:
Stretchy to follow you through some size changes, which are inevitable during nursing.
I took the soft cup inserts out & like it that way.
Holds up well in the wash, even with hot water (tumble dry low).

Possible Con:
Stretchiness allows the outline of cloth nursing pads to show through somewhat. Usually not a problem, but could be if needing to wear this with a tight shirt.

THis bra is pretty disappointing. I purchased it because it was the only affordable nursing bra I could find in my size, 32 G. The band size runs large, the cup size is definitely small. I am a small framed woman with a larger chest (32D - 32DD). I have a difficult time finding bras in my size that are supportive and that have adjustable straps (not the 1/2 adjustable straps like some bras have) since I am also shorter and the fully adjustable straps help keep my chest higher. This bra works perfectly. It is extremely supportive and has fits great. It is also great because it works well as a t-shirt bra and a few times when I have had milk leak without breast pads, the bras padding helped me out! I should be a 32D but the 34D works great for me. I would highly recommend this to any nursing mom.Get more detail about Leading Lady 410 Nursing Bra.

I love it. I tried so many nursing bras before my friend recommended this one. I'm even on this page so that I can buy a new one. It's so comfortable, supportive and a great style. the bra was actually not bad other than the shape. I have really round boobs that are full up at the top, so when I put on the bra it squeezed them into a really un-natural position. More like a rocket shape (thin and long not full and round). the material was really soft and the clasp was really easy. The only thing bad was the shape.Get more detail about Bravado Lifestyle Nursing Bra.

I was looking for a comfortable and attractive nursing bra in a large size (I'm a 38E! Yikes!) and I have found it!!! This bra is very comfortable, attractive, and so worth the extra money! Most bras (nursing or not) for larger breasted women are matronly and make you feel like you're wearing body armor. But this bra is great! I'd even recommend it to non-nursing larger breasted women. I was nervous ordering bras online, but this one has exceeded my expectations. The underwire is soft enough that when I fold the cup down to nurse, it does not dig into my ribcage like so many other nursing bras with underwires, but still provides comfortable support. The little 'memo' tab to mark which side to nurse from next is really helpful as well. I'm very happy with this bra, I even bought two (in black and skin), and if they had it in my size in white I'd buy another! :DGet more detail about Anita Microfiber Underwire Nursing Bra Style 5041.

I should have listened to the other reviews. Straps are so flimsy/stretchy I can't imagine this bra being any good for any but the most flat of chest, much less any expecting or nursing mamas with "extra" up front. I find the glamourmom tank top very useful, because it has the power to turn almost any outfit into a nursing-friendly one. It makes for very discreet nursing because your stomach & some of your boob is covered by the tank, and then you hanve your own shirt over it which covers you above the baby.

The tanks run tight and are stretchy, which are great consider they are serving as underwear/undershirt. Elastic helps hold in all the remaining postpartum pudge.

Only downside is that wearing two shirts is way to hot for nursing in the summertime. The tank is not cotton and can be sweaty on a sunny day, esp with 2 layers on.
The tank CANNOT be worn on its own. The cutouts around the nipples are very much on display.Get more detail about GlamourMom Nursing Bra Tank.

The Belabumbum Lotus seamless nursing bra is adorable, but not supportive enough for lactating breasts (even the smaller ones). It is just too soft and stretchy, which sounds nice... until the milk comes in and your breasts need good support.

This is, however, a great bra for during pregnancy, especially that period of time when your breasts grow quickly and are sore.Get more detail about Belabumbum Seamless Nursing Bra.

These are absolutley fabulous! A very comfortable cotton absorbant liner designed to wear under your bra band to absorb perspiration and ease the elastic and/or wire from digging into your skin. It has a "tab" piece that goes between the breasts for the same reason. It is very comfortable, the only thing you will notice is the increased comfort of your bra.
They come in a variety of sizes and even in colors. The only thing I would recommend is that you measure where you want the liner to cover as the only difference is the length. I ordered the "try me" with free shipping in my band size but when I reordered 6 more (yes, they are THAT good) I ordered two sizes smaller as that length covers the area I want covered.
They are machine washable and dryable. If you have latex allergies, are well endowed, have underwire bras that cut your skin or suffer from heat rash in the bra area you will really appreciate this product.Get more detail about 3-Pack Absorbing n' Comfortable Bra Liners in Sizes: S-M-L-XL-XXL.

I've nursed three kids in six years and own two of these bras in a 32J and one in a 30H. I purchased the smaller size when I was pregnant and have worn the larger while nursing my third child. They are stiff, cut deep under my armpits, ride up in the back causing them to dig in under the ribs, and the seams are right down the center where they irritate the nipple. After wearing this for a year I have red rub marks under the ribs and on top of my shoulders, occationally on my nipple, with a friction rash just below my arm pits. If you fluctuate a lot before and after feedings they only get more uncomfortable as the fabric has no stretch at all.

With my first two I wore the Anita 5062 and although they were small in the cup and lost shape quicker, they were much more comfortable. I purchased the Freya Rosalie because I was told it was my only option in my size at a specialty bra shop. For a small framed person, I'm a size 6, with heavy breasts I would not purchase this bra. Now that my son doesn't nurse as much I have shrunk and have more options again. Knowing what I know now I would not have purchased these bras. The only positive thing I can say for them is they were prettier than most and the nude color I was looking for. I hope this helps someone else similarly sized.Get more detail about Freya Rosalie nursing bra.

I love these tops! I bought three of these after returning the "komfy kangaroo" version of the this at a cheaper price. The lack of spandex in them made them fit too lose. These tops are great because of the stretch. I prefer the version that is the "top"(bra type strap) rather than the "tank" (cloth spaghetti strap).

About the size. I bought these when my milk supply was just regulating and the medium felt too small. I was tired of returns from the other company, so I kept these a few days with the intent of returning. I did not need too; once my supply regulated the medium was perfect!

How to wear it: I was fitted in these tops at a lactation support store and was so glad I did (I bought online because they were cheaper though). She suggested I step into the top like you would a swimsuit to protect tender nipples. Once you have it pulled up, lift the outer top to reveal the shelf bra under. Lean forward as though you are going to touch your toes and make sure the 1 inch elastic band is flush with ribs and not on breasts. Stand up and adjust your breast from the top by lifting each breast up and settling them in to align with the nipple cut outs. Adjust the straps to support the breast firmly, but not tight. It is meant to be firm, not tight.

I wear my tops everyday and have had them for 3 months. They wash well and are great for sleeping. They are great alone or instead of bra with other tops. I wear "Lily Padz" nursing pads and because they are thin silicone, they do not show under these tops.

I wish they were cheaper, but after failures with other tops and frequency of nursing, they are worth it. I am actually online now to buy 2 more.

Good luck with your breast-feeding.Get more detail about Glamourmom Lace Nursing Bra top - L-XXL only.
